An additional year or two of post-study work rights to the Temporary Graduate visa (TGV) in post-study work stream has been announced by the Department of Home Affairs in an effort to encourage international students to study, live, or work in regional areas boosting diversity and economy in regional Australia.
It will be a requirement for eligible applicants of the second Temporary Graduate visa to maintain ongoing residence in designated regional areas.
Eligibility includes international students who studied at a regional campus of a metropolitan university.
