Life expectancy of Australians among the highest in the world

The number of centenarians in Australia has increased by 550 to 4,440 over the year ending June 2015, according to figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on 17 December.

The life expectancy at birth of Australia, as given by the World Health Organisation, was 83 years in 2012, and going by the trend of increasing centenarians, it is likely to become higher every year.

According to Geoba.se, Australia ranks the 9th highest life expectancy rate in the world.

Thus, Australia is not only among the top 10 countires with the highest life expectancy figures, but is coninuously moving up the ranks, and is likely to be among the top 5 rankers of life expectancy in the world in the not too distant future.

This is another strong reason why people in countries with lower life expectancy rankings should think of migrating to Australia. Australia has various categories of visas to suit a wide variety of people in the world. It is worthwhile contacting a registered migration agent of Australia if you have not  done so already. It would be a wise move to contact the trusted visa centre, Australia NZ Migration Centre. Take a look at their website at:
